As a worldwide leader in imaging and printing, HP is committed to delivering outstanding quality and reliability to its customers.
As part of HP’s regular product testing we recently discovered a colour mix issue in a small portion of selected HP Original tri-colour Inkjet Print Cartridges, with some colour chambers being over-filled and the balance under-filled. The print quality is not affected, and as such, customers who have purchased an affected cartridge in the last few months, will continue to receive the same vibrant, long-lasting prints expected out of HP inks. Depending upon individual use, however, a small number of customers may receive fewer pages than HP intended.
In Europe two cartridges were affected* (see details below) with a “Warranty End” date that falls between 1 May 2011 and 31 August 2011 (Warranty End date can be found on the HP Inkjet Print Cartridge). Additionally, a small number of cartridges that shipped within the box of the respective printers* (see details below) were impacted. The error has since been corrected.
Customers who have purchased an affected cartridge can get a replacement primarily by contacting HP Support via http://www.hp.com/support. For additional information and/or questions, customers can also visit http://www.hp.com/eur/colourinkinfo or click below:
Alternatively, customers can opt to return affected cartridges stating Warranty end between 1 May 2011 and 31 August 2011 to where they were purchased.
